1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply: "Service" refers to immigration consultation and application support services provided by Azimuth Advisory. "Client" or "You" refers to the individual or entity engaging our immigration services. "We," "Us," or "Our" refers to Azimuth Advisory. "Agreement" refers to the service contract formed when you engage our services. "Website" refers to our online presence accessible through azimuthadviisserss.info.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging our immigration services or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not engage our services or use our website.

You must be at least 18 years old to enter into this agreement. By engaging our services, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under applicable law.

3. Service Description

Azimuth Advisory provides professional immigration consultation and application support services for individuals seeking Taiwan residency. Our services include assessment of visa eligibility, preparation of immigration applications, coordination of document translations and authentication, submission of applications to Taiwan immigration authorities, and communication with government offices throughout the application process.

We offer three service levels: Bearing Assessment (initial consultation and pathway analysis), Course Plotting Services (application preparation and submission support), and Full Navigation Services (comprehensive case management for complex immigration pathways). Specific service details are outlined in individual service agreements.

4. Service Limitations

We provide immigration consultation and application support services, but we are not legal counsel and do not provide legal advice. Complex legal matters may require consultation with qualified immigration attorneys, and we will advise you if your situation requires legal representation.

While we apply professional expertise to prepare accurate applications, we cannot control or influence immigration authority decisions. Approval of visa applications is determined solely by Taiwan government agencies according to their criteria and procedures. We do not make representations about application outcomes.

5. Client Responsibilities

As a client engaging our services, you agree to provide complete and accurate information about your circumstances, educational background, professional experience, and family situation. You must disclose any information that may be relevant to your immigration application, including previous visa denials, criminal history, or health conditions that may affect eligibility.

You are responsible for providing all required documentation in a timely manner. Delays in providing documents may extend processing timelines and affect application outcomes. You must notify us promptly of any changes in your circumstances that may affect your application.

You agree to pay all service fees according to the terms outlined in your service agreement and to cover any third-party costs such as translation services, authentication fees, and government application fees.

6. Fees and Payment

Service fees are specified in individual service agreements and must be paid according to the payment schedule outlined. Fees are quoted in New Taiwan Dollars (NT$) and are payable by bank transfer, credit card, or other methods specified in your service agreement.

Service fees cover our professional consultation and application preparation services. They do not include third-party costs such as government application fees, translation services, document authentication, or postage. These additional costs are the client's responsibility.

Payment terms vary by service level. Bearing Assessment requires full payment before consultation. Course Plotting and Full Navigation services typically require initial payment to begin work, with remaining amounts due according to agreed milestones.

7. Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on service level and stage of completion. For Bearing Assessment, refunds may be provided if requested before the consultation session occurs. After consultation, fees are non-refundable as the service has been delivered.

For Course Plotting and Full Navigation services, refunds are calculated based on work completed. If you cancel services after initial payment but before significant work has commenced, a partial refund may be available less an administrative fee. Once substantial work has been completed or applications have been submitted, refunds are not available.

Service fees are not refunded if an application is denied by immigration authorities, as our service is preparation and submission support, not a guarantee of approval. Immigration authority decisions are beyond our control.

8. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information and documentation in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Taiwan's Personal Information Protection Act. Information is only shared with immigration authorities and necessary third-party service providers as required to process your application.

This confidentiality obligation continues beyond the conclusion of our service relationship and applies to all information disclosed during consultation and application processes.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and design elements, is the property of Azimuth Advisory and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our website content without written permission.

Documents prepared for your immigration application are for your personal use in that application only. You may not share our work product with others or use it for purposes other than your Taiwan immigration application.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Azimuth Advisory's liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the total fees paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including lost profits, business opportunities, or travel expenses.

We are not responsible for delays or denials caused by immigration authority processing times, policy changes, incomplete client documentation, inaccurate information provided by the client, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

11. Service Delays and Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays in service delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including government office closures, natural disasters, public health emergencies, changes in immigration regulations, or technical system failures at government agencies.

If such circumstances occur, we will notify affected clients promptly and work to minimize delays while maintaining service quality.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement with written notice. If you terminate services, refund eligibility is determined according to our refund policy based on work completed. If we terminate services due to client breach of these terms or failure to provide required cooperation, no refund is provided.

Upon termination, we will provide you with copies of all documents prepared and materials submitted on your behalf. We retain copies of all case materials according to professional record retention requirements.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Taiwan. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Taipei, Taiwan.

Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good faith negotiation. If negotiation does not resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may pursue legal remedies.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated to active clients by email. The "Last Updated" date indicates when terms were most recently revised.

Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with revised terms, you may terminate the service agreement according to the termination provisions.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with your individual service agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Azimuth Advisory regarding our services. These terms supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
